A little distorted?  If you're going to talk about class rank, which I think is irrelevant, why didn't you mention Biden's class rank?

I just cut and pasted it...But with that alone...if things were switched in every aspect, do you think the race would even be close

I don't know if the race would be close.

Regarding Biden:  "Mr. Biden, who graduated from the law school in 1968, was 76th in a class of 85."

As an undergrad at the Univ. of Delaware:

"In his first three semesters, his grades were C's or D's, with three exceptions: two A's in physical education courses, a B in a course on ''Great English Writers'' and an F in R.O.T.C. The grades improved somewhat later but were never exceptional."

Do you think that Palin would even make it through law school to get a J.D. Seriously speaking..not even being political.

How come no one talks about the fact that Biden stayed on as a senator after his wife and infant daughter were killed and roped his sister into raising his kids. Pretty scumbaggish like Palin.

Yes, very smart.  She's a college graduate.  She has a successful marriage.  She has raised and is raising a family.  She has served on the city council.  She has served as mayor.  She is serving as governor.  I guess it's possible to do all of those things and still be stupid, but highly unlikely.  Plus she can shoot hoops.   :)

My opinion has nothing to do with party politics.  I'm not a Republican.  Just giving you my opinion (which you asked for).

What I do see is very partisan criticism of Palin.  Liberals use the same talking points (she attend 25 colleges or whatever, etc.).

Having an affair with your husband's business partner is not a sign of a successful marriage.

Having a kid who smokes oxycontin, and another that is a drunken knocked up slut, is NOT a sign of one who is raising a successful family.

Serving on city council or representing a town of 5,000 people hardly qualifies her to be VPOTUS or POTUS.

I was a finalist in a beauty pageant, I was twice elected to serve a constituency of 18,000+ across Canada, worked within budgets larger than Wasilla's, have an IQ of 160, am far more informed about current affairs, domestic issues, and foreign issues than Palin, I've been to more countries, speak more languages, and even I don't think I'm qualified to run a country of 30 million, much less one of over 300 million, on the verge of bankruptcy, and in the midst of 2 wars, ...but then again... I don't have a self-proclaimed witch hunter on my side.

Maybe she could shoot hoops against Obama?

How about she's a vapid god-bot who couldn't find her ass from a hole in the wall?

I . . . have an IQ of 160

This might be the biggest fib I've ever read on this website.   ::)  There is no way on God's green earth that you have the IQ of Albert Einstein.  You can't even keep this lie straight.

 wtf?!

{blush}      oh poop! ...I made a mistake.     It's actually 140, not 160.

My mistake. It's only 140. I knew it was a number that just barely squeeked me into the category of "genius", but I'm not claiming to be on the same level as Einstein. It's no big deal, it's just a number that represents potential.

Thanks for posting that link BB.

{blush}   Oh man, ...I can just see this now. You'all are never gonna let me live this down are you? {lol}

1st of all, IQ really means nothing to me. If it did, I probably would have remembered it.
2nd I had no idea Einstein's IQ was 160. When I read that, I realized there was no way I was on par with Einstein.
3rd I know my IQ is the bare minimum that places me in the 'genius' category by the skin of my teeth. When I saw the link BB posted, I realized the number was infact 140 and not 160. It was an error on my part. Even a genius like me can make the occasional error.

You are the one that claims I have the same IQ as Einstein. I maintain that mine is the minimum required for entry into Mensa. if that minimum is 160 or 140 so be it. If it also happens to be the same as Einstein's, so be it, ...I'll simply have to live with that. It wouldn't be the first time I've been told I'm performing far below my capabilities or not living up to my potential. I'm sure it won't be the last either.

It probably wouldn't be close at all.  Also, I believe that if Obama was a white candidate with an Anglo name (same credentials and experience) there wouldn't be half as much hype or support for him.........

How so?

Minority voters, who typically do not vote and could care less about politics, are on fire about the prospect of having someone thats not white in the white house.  African American support has been huge for him and many people in that community do not care about his plans or policies, they're simpy voting based on race.  Obviously, there are many whites not voting for him for this same reason......

Far lefties and the counter-culture see him as something different and way to "rock the establishment".  A lot of people deeply hold the idea that politicians are all just "old, rich, white men" regardless if they're dem or repub.  That's why there's so much hype and trendiness over Obama.  Think about it, did John Kerry or Al Gore have this type of support?

Stop it already.  YOU are the one who claimed to have an IQ of 160.  "Einstein was considered to 'only' have an IQ of about 160."   http://wilderdom.com/intelligence/IQWhatScoresMean.html

When I pointed that out, you claimed it was "only" 140.  Now in this thread you have said it is 160, and might be 140.  You would think a genius would know.  lol . . .

I hate to break this to you, but you're not a genius.  "Only approximately 1% of the people in the world have an IQ of 135 or over."  http://hem.bredband.net/b153434/Index.htm

I would be stunned if you fell into that less than 1 percent with an IQ of 160, placing you in the company of the smartest people who ever lived.

This has been clarified ad infinitum. I know my score is the bare minimum to squeak into the genius category and is enough for membership in mensa. As I have long held, IQ is really irrelevant since it does NOT measure how smart one is, but rather one's potential. You might be aware of the fact that in his early years, Einstein was considered mentally retarded. Does it mean he was? Of course not. I have been shown to have an IQ of 160. Does that mean I understand theoretical physics? Of course not. The difference between Einstein and myself and many, is that Einstein was able to unlock his potential. I clearly have not.

Your effort to disrail the topic is quite transparent, but since we have settled this, ...why not get back on topic?

You're the one who brought up your IQ.  I just pointed out how you were and are lying through your teeth.  But carry on.  Feel free to further discuss McCain's and Biden's class ranking how important that is to the presidential election.

There are ALOT of people who typically do not vote that are on fire about the prospect of having him in the White House for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with his race.

John Kerry was a Yale bonesman who married a ketchup heiress.
Al Gore was a senator, the priviledged son of a senator.

Both came from established priviledge, and had about as much charm, charisma, and appeal of a nasty spitball.

After 8 years of the village idiot, an articulate President with intelligence, wisdom, judgement, and policies is a refreshing, energizing change regardless of his colour. Say what you want, but trust me when I tell you, ...being Black is not a magic wand, ...far from it.
