'Rednecks for Obama' Want to Make a Difference in Campaign

A grassroots movement called 'Rednecks for Obama' wants to unite people to elect Barrack Obama as the next U.S. president.

A pair of men, Tony Viessman, 47, and Les Spencer, 60, have become politically active with the idea, according to Agence France Presse.

At a recent Obama rally in Missouri, the pair showed up holding a red, white and blue "Rednecks for Obama" banner.

"We believe in him. He's the best person for the job," Viessman said, according to AFP.

He hopes to convince enough people to make a difference in the race.

"There's lots of other rednecks for Obama too," he added. "And the ones that's not, we're trying our best to convince them."
