wrong. you dont suddenly get smarter. you are either smart, or dumb. your ability to deal with concepts and issues doesnt change. Your life experience accumulates..thats it. for dumb asses, much of the lessons learnt during life goes in one ear and out the next.

i'm no palin fan.  there was a guy who scored a 13 on the act, made it into college (colorado state univ) and was a complete f up (pot smokers ala wackdaddy and his female ghost) but grad.  prof thought he wasnt a focused individual but had talent.  guy ended up completing his ph.d. (immunology) and is respected guy in his field in colorado.

you cant count on sats/acts.  if there are things going on (esp negative) in a person's life...then a bad score usually comes from lack of prep.  basically...someone just walks in and takes it.

850-900 is probably equal to at 13 act.  i took the act once in 11th grade and got a 19, didnt bother with it again. in 1982 a 13 would have gotten you into a public university which it did in her case.  all this BS aside she has done extremely well to become a governor of a state...no matter how small.  the vp nonsense is on mccain for bring this lady into the s##t to try and steal an election for his last story before he kicks the bucket.

basically with an 850 she has outdone all the ivy league grads on this site and millionaires.  think about that for moment.  has anyone on here done more than this woman?

When you can run a city or a state and end up being chosen for vice-president, then you can lecture somebody on how much of an "idiot" Sarah Palin is.

it does give insight into the inherent intellectual capability- and somewhat into the focus and discipline of a person.

i.e. some clever people who dont study still do quite well, and other not so clevers who work hard can do very well.

BUT, if you do crap, you are either dumb/average and slack, or work really hard and a thick head.

You dont get smarter as you get older- you learn more, but you dont necessarily retain it. Thats why IQ tests apply from age 15 onwards and dont change anty more than 5% throughout an adult's life- at least until senility.

So in summary, if your IQ indicated that you're a moron when you do your SATs, then you'll always be a moron.

You post this mess, yet you have the gall to call someone else a "moron". IQ tests don't mean JACK in the real world. There are many people with high IQs who can barely balance a checkbook. They have lots of "book" smarts but their common sense is out the window.

All Palin has done is graduate from high school and college, become a two-time mayor, and become the FIRST female governor of Alaska. In less than a month, she could become the first female VP in history. What she's accomplished politically in such a short time is, by any standard, impressive.

Hard work and tenacity will get you farther in life than a high IQ.

If I'm correct and remember...Buffet did his Masters at Columbia.  Didnt Trump leverage family Real Estate to get his start?

Anyway...she has maxed out her potential to a certain extent.  Couldnt see her as Gov of NY...just not happening.  Same thing goes for VP of the USA.  It's an insane thought.  Personally...I think alot of things have happen for her based on her looks.  You can see this with the current election.  People are completely looking past her true depth.  Again...for kids who are borderline and get s##t about underachieving she is a person they can look at for inspiration.

yeah i mean who are to think that the one test that measures weather a  student qualifies to enroll in just about EVERY American university is just a stupid assessment of intelligence, what do universities and colleges know about intelligence anyways ..

Why would I lie about my SAT scores??? I studied hard in school plus I took SAT prep as an elective in high school.  I spent an entire year doing SAT tests.....

Simply put.....If you cannot comprehend basic English and Math skills, then you obviously either are stupid or you spent to much time being the most popular kid in school rather than study which I believe Palin is the latter.

She eventually cleaned up her act down the line a graduated however I can't see how she can botch so many interviews when her degree is in communications and she worked as a journalist and news reporter herself.

It simply defies the laws of time and space that she can be in this position but our current President is just as stupid.
