Yes.

He was in my city this weekend to promote GNC and said he was going to do the NY show. He was pretty friendly and talkative overall. Asked if Dexter's win would mean him trying to bring in a less massive and more aesthetic look for the judges he goes (in a very calm, expressionless tone), "No, I don't give a shit what the judges think"

His time has gone. The IFBB have moved on to aesthetics now. He can join Jay at the bottom end of the Olympia top 10 in 2009.

Ruhl creates his own time and space, nevermind the direction the judges are taking, promoters should pay him to compete, he's a huge fan favorite.

He's never gonna win shit, but it will be good to see him. Hope he's gonna be in decent shape.

I met Markus last week as well and he did say that he is doing the ny pro. Plans on looking crazy because he said he wants to give the fans something to remember him for in his last show. Widest human being I have ever seen, in really good shape too for being almost 300 pounds. Very friendly too.

He never did. In his videos he talked about that... he didnt want to be Mr.Olympia he just wanted to be the biggest man on the planet and to please his fans. he would get pissed at bad judging but it wasnt a goal for him entering any show.

He was there for 5 and a half hours, and I went towards the tail-end, so there wasn't a lineup or anything, but there were a few people comign in and leaving every few minutes. How was the turnout in Calgary?

One of the few bodybuilder that it doesn't matter if he has a horrible pec tear or not. Everyone who is a fan of bodybuilding should be a fan of Ruhl, wether they like his phsyique or not. One of the few guys who's personality doesn't resemble wet cardboard. Marcus is the embodiment of what the bodybuilding lifestyle should be, and by that I don't mean his look, but rather the fact that he doesn't take this shit too serious and really seems to be a genuine guy who loves life.

Would love to see Ruhl on stage again, pec tear or not!
