Any conservatives going to move from.....

Major cities if Obama gets elected because you fear democrats are so weak on defense that a nuclear bomb is likely to go off?

Or will you renounce your citizenship because you think we will turn into the United Communist States of America?

Or will you just become gay for Obama like everyone else?

No, actually I'm more inclined to stay near Baltimore simply because there aren't enough of us.  Conservative states in the south, mid-west, and western US don't need conservatives as a motion for change as bad as MD, NY, MA, CA, IL, etc.

And man, do we need some more in Cali.

We have thought of just walling off the Bay Area and LA like abcesses and moving on with the rest of the state....

Mainly NYC, my experience outside of it seemed that there were more conservatives in NY state.   But that's just my very unscientific take.

No.  I'll back him because he's my president and we're all in this together.  I might criticize him, but that's my right.  I don't know that I'll take it to the level that I've seen on this site and elsewhere (outright pathetic, imo).  I can't lie to you and say that I won't pray even more than I do now each day.  ;)  But nonetheless, we're in this together as Americans, right?

Don't want to be a punk coward like Tim Robbins or Alec Baldwin.

Cleveland is quite slanted as pro Obama but the city is historically democratic.  We are one of the poorest big cities in the nation.  The suburbs are pretty mixed.
If Obama can move to the middle, I won't be so worried.  Right now, it seems like he is going to take our country in a direction that is away from its roots with the quasi-socialist ideas and big gov influence in many private sectors.  (but Bush & Cheney already started that trend!)

He may be in a position to have an effect on culture though.  The culture of American people, in general, has changed greatly from the 1st and 2nd generation immigrant waves of the 20s, 30s and 40s to now.  Barack is in a unique position to talk to low income families about values and culture.  I hope he can have some positive influence.

Cleveland is very pro-Democrat.  My grandfather was a union prez there and I've spent a lot of time there as well as Dayton/Springfield. The difference is that Ohio is, for the most part, still a conservative state.

I also lived in upstate NY for a bit and the rest of the state is much more conservative that NYC.  However there are enough Dems outside of the city that the whole state tends to lean left as opposed to OH.
