Bullshit, it was always heavily edited, before photoshop they were using airbrushing, trick lighting and other techniques to fuck it up, I've always had the same opinion about playboy pics as well, they look too dreamy and fake.

I know pics have always been edited.  I wasn't trying to say they weren't.  I'm very aware of airbrush techniques used before photoshop.  No argument there.  Just over the years of purchasing playboy's and subscribing to them i feel the amount of work to the pics has drastically increased.  I think the magazines now just take it too far.  I don't subscribe to any of them anymore...
