Obama's lead falls two points in new CNN Poll of Polls

From CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser

(CNN) — A new average of the most recent national polls suggests Sen. Barack Obama holds a 6-point lead over Sen. John McCain.

The CNN Poll of Polls, compiled Friday morning, indicates that 49 percent of Americans say Obama, D-Illinois, is their choice for president, with 43 percent backing McCain, R-Arizona. Eight percent of those questioned are undecided.

Watch: Polls show Obama is leading McCain

The previous edition, compiled Thursday, indicated Obama had an 8-point lead over McCain, 50-42 percent.

This edition of the CNN Poll of Polls averaged four surveys: an American Research Group poll conducted October 11-13; a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby survey taken October 13-16; a Gallup poll conducted October 13-15; and a Diageo/Hotline survey taken October 13-15.

These polls showing a Obama big lead were all a big lie since they did not use likely voters and were using resigtered voters.  They also were using oversamples of dem voters compared to GOP voters.

If you read the internals of these polls, they favor the dems heavily. 

This race is a dead heat.

Nobody is watching..nobody cares...they're measuring the Messiah's head for a crown....then Joe the Plumber happened...it doesn't matter about him, it matters what Barry said...he said he'd like to spread the wealth around...funny thing happened, the polls began to tighten. Gallup has em within the margin of error for two straight days. When RealClear starts to drop the almost 7 point lead I will feel better, but there are some crazy polls out there. Most are within 6 points. Shit like Joe the Plumber turn elections...the Dukakis tank pic....no new taxes....Reagan and his lines.....One spectactular attack by Cave Boy Bin Laden....and its game over for the Changling.

Oh and one other point for all u Libs....All the Gannet Inc published military Times papers did a poll of military voters...Army time/Marine times etc...McCain 70...Obama 30.....the closest was Marine Times 65/35....so forget that argument...we hate the guy...

The hotel we were staying at had one of those Managers reception things for us on the same day as the debate. The room was filled with our contractors plus the military guys....they had the debate on. There wasn't a single guy voting for this idiot. Our contractors ranger from Vietnam vets to guys who just retired. Not sure where this cash is coming from.

There isn't much cash at all.  There were only a handful of military folks who donated.
