Oil infection question
« on: October 17, 2008, 12:14:49 PM »
Hey guy's i'm looking for a little help, i've done a total of 4 or 5 cycles over about 2-3 years and i've gotten a total of 3 oil infections with fevors and swelling on my cheek.  I've been injecting in the same cheek consistantly cause I'm usually not that sore and its more comfortable for me to do it in that peticular cheek.  I randomly recently got an infection with a high fevor.  Could it be that i'm over using the same cheek?  Should I be alternating cheeks?  Any info would be much appreciated.

Bring this thread to the Steroids board, where all the insecure baboons hang out and talk about cycles like thier doing laundry

if you're having fevers, you're probably infecting yourself with bacteria or other contaminants.  you need better sterilization techniques.   don't reuse syringes or needles!

doesn't the fact that you keep getting sick and don't get any huge muscle gains from the drugs tell you that you're not cut out for them?

I'd get needles and oil from a whole new place.  Could be anything in that situation.  Also inject in a new spot, in a new sterile room, and look out for pet dander, dust, mold, etc.  Something, somewhere is getting you.  Change everything.

Actually I've made some significant gains over the past 4 years or so.  I went from being 170lbs when I was 18 to 252 lbs at 22 almost 23.  I'm also 6'3 too.  So that's not where my problem lies either.  On top of it all I use brand new syringes and needles every time and I'm using American made test that i've used in the past to get these gains.  It's not the Mexico crap.  I think it just comes down to me injecting in one spot too many times.  That can be easily resolved.  I'm nervous tho cause I haven't injected anywhere else besides the ass cheek, any advice anyone can give me?  Or other locations?  Thanks guy's for your feedback.

Another common site for injection is the Ventrogluteal part of the Gluteus (slightly higher and to the outside of the Dorsogluteal site).

Of course, other sites such as the deltoid (shoulder), Triceps and Biceps (arms), as well as even Pectorals (chest- a bit too "Pulp Fiction" for me, personally) and Calves are used as injection sites. But regardless of the site, the same procedure and sanitary protocol must be followed.

thanks for the help 240 that's awesome. Would I be wise to wait until I'm healed to hit another shot? (Obviously in a different location) or would it be ok?

IMO, don't shoot anything until the fever is gone (if you still have it) and the swelling stops.  If you don't want to see a doc, look up a friend who does physical therapy, etc - someone with at least the ability to disgnose and drain the puss.  That shit can kill you if you leave it there.

Besides, shoulder/calves are good spots for receptors anyway, make those babies grow too.

WIKI up a map of the region first, learn about what's under the shoot zones and don't nick a vein.

Do I personally? Hell no. I divide the dose into morn and night. Vit C has a very short life in the body.

say glute, not cheek.  you'd think you would learn from the first 2 infections?  dont shoot one spot more tha 1ce a week if you can help it, alternate cheeks, lats, shoulders, thighs, etc.

lats are a very comfortable spot to shoot, that was my preference.

Your cheek?  You actually put a needle in your face?  Damn, what a nitwit.
