thanks for the positive replies guys, i got some real good advice from a member here via pm however please feel free to add your experience and advice via this thread.do you study problem based or lecture based ?what are your thoughts on it and what are the best and worse aspects of it.
lecture and labproblem based is year 3i really dont give a shit...its all the same. i want it to be over
mal is the lectures simply a matter of memorisation of facts?do you have any free time ?
lecture=Prof in front going through shit on an overhead...Lab= application..read your shit...no free time
what year you in dude? i enjoy pathology the most out of all the courses, micro is pretty sweet also.
worst of all was bio chem...that had me wanting to quit.
yes i literally can barely remember half the enzymes involved in any biochemical reactions like gluconeogenesis etc.. someone brought up fructokinase the other day and i was like oh fuck.................... ..............
any advice i could use necrosis be nice
not surprising that fucmeinarse was one of the few enzymes you do remember.
It also depends on well you would like to do, as there is a minimum grade and some students do take advantage of this to actually have a life.
bwhahaha whats up dude i thought you had died in a suicide bombing nice to see you back.
can you elaborate on this ?
most schools have a probationary standing of 70-75 % average in all courses, you can stay there and still graduate. Some people do that, some people study for 90's and some for moderate marks, some people freak out and are overstressed and some dont care all that much. After all the years of undergrad you pretty much know how much effort you have to do to achieve a mark, thats all i meant by that.
nothin much man, studyin for midterms. just thought I'd check on the resident newfie
