To shed some light on the stolen election bull. Cliffs for the ADD afflicted:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122455082328052539.html- Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign is relying on loopholes in campaign finance law to raise and spend money outside of the government's public funding program.
- the law allows him to create what's called a "compliance fund" to pay for legal fees associated with complying with campaign finance rules.
- The bulk of Sen. McCain's expenditures were to pick up part of the tab for television and radio ads -- the first time a candidate has been allowed to do that before an election.
- While he's technically not allowed to accept campaign cash, his Web site directs supporters to a fund-raising committee that sends money to the Republican National Committee and a number of state parties in swing states around the country. That money will be used on his behalf.
