thanx, bro

i've been off them now since june. what a shitty 2 weeks that was. i lost about 25 lb. muscle, but weigh exactly the same due to all the beer, lol.  just this week there have been a few things come up that have made me want to train again. this time it'll have to be all light machine work as my back is way to unstable to support any substantial weight. since i posted pics taken today at the worst shape of my life, i will update here with progress photos if i train steady.

You are one old ripped son of a bitch.

Mine are just under 8".

Here are a few famous wrist measurements:

Ken Patera: 9.5".

Cleve Dean a famous 6' 7", 465lb+ arm wrestler had 10.25" wrists.

Bill Kazmaier: 8.6" .

Andre the Giant was reported by Terry Todd to have wrists just under a foot in circumference.

Now input your wrist measurements into the MALE "GRECIAN IDEAL" CALCULATOR on this website (about halfway down page) and let us know how your real measurements compare to the ideal.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson207.htm

(Personally, I think someone has messed up on this calculator, especially as regards waist size.  It calculates that a person with 8" wrists would have an ideal waist size of 36".  Seems a bit large for an ideal body.)

That's a pretty cool calculator.

You're right tho, the waist ideal is too big. It had me at 43" Ideal waist.

The rest looked pretty good.

Don't know that there has ever been a 280 pound plus pro at lower than a 34-36 in waist.  Just saying that the calculator seems off.  For Steve Reeves' 7.9 inch wrist, it shows his ideal proportions should be:

Chest  51 inches
Waist  36 inches
Hip  43 inches
Bicep  18 inches
Forearm  15 inches
Thigh  27 inches
Calve  17 inches
Neck  19 inches

That waist size is a damn sight larger than Reeve's much more streamlined 29-30" waist.

Would be interesting if the current pro contests put the competitor's measurements in the program like they did back in Reeve's day.  (See http://www.musclememory.com/articles/MrAsizes.html, for example.)

Horrible bencher good deadlifter, am I right?

Maybe you have long arms so you have way better leverage for deadlifts than for benching.

I measured my wrists again.  I have one of those tapes that roll up inside itself.  The first number that shows is 4".  Then it has a metal grab ring.  I thought it was 4" long but it is only 3" long to the point where it the metal rings attaches.  So my wrists are actually 8.5" not 9.5"
