The guy was a legend.  Has anyone said who's taking over for Ben?

I thought Manion pretty much already has, at least on the pro and US amateur levels.  That Spanish guy is running the international stuff.

Ben has three kids, Eric, Marc and Louis.  Eric Weider has heaviliy involved in the magazines and other aspects, but is now more invovled in military magazines, which he owns.    Marc was involved too, but not sure what he is doing now.

Ben Weider retired in 2006 from the presidency of the IFBB, and Dr. Rafael Santonja was elected the new president then.

As for Peter McGough as the guest, I am also interested in Peter's big news this past week.

Ben looked in a lot better shape than Joe at the olympia
I would have guessed that we would hear the bad news of Joe's passing first

Great show. Props Dan for running the interview of Mr. Weider again and for asking questions many of us wanted to hear.

I didn't know much about Ben Weider at all, until hearing this.  A very accomplished guy.

Good show.  It sounds like Ben's son doesn't plan to be taking over any of his Dad's Bodybuilding interests.
