this is getting crazy.
In order to ensure profits were not impeded, the regulations were removed so that in essence, it is legal to adulterate products in China. The melamine tainted milk was discovered well before the Olympics, ...but officials hushed it up because they didn't want anything overshadowing the games or casting them in a bad light.
