Any self-respected liberal wouldn't work for FoxNews. The ONLY reason that they have Colmes with Hannity is to make it seem like they are "fair and balanced", when in fact they are everything but fair and balanced. Colmes is paid to say his thing when he is required to, just to give the impression of equality of opinions, and then he has to shut up and let Hannity blabber. I really don't even consider Fox-News a news source, but rather a propaganda source.

This is actually the point of the pairing. Conservatives always point out that Fox isn't conservative because they have people like  Colmes on. I've never bothered pointing out how Colmes  purpose is to be a poor  advocate for the liberal POV because it's too subjective, but I'm glad even a Kool Aid drinker like you can see it. His physical appearance also plays into his role. He's sort of mousy and off putting while Hannity looks like a corn fed good ol' boy.
