There was nothing anyone could have done to prevent it... If you want to be angry, then ask yourself why NEITHER party is standing up and trying to stop illegal immigration.

Make LEGAL immigration a bit easier and less time consuming... require them to learn English... and if they don't make it... kick them out.

It's no ones fault (as far as republicans or dems) but the response to it has squarely rested on the shoulders of the Republican party and more directly, George W. Bush.

Actually, the immigration laws worked just fine. They were denied visas to even enter the USA,
...but someone very high up in the State Dept, read someone the riot act and demanded they be allowed entry.

This had nothing to do with the laws in your system. It had to do with all the spooks in it.

Damn right I do.  The founders of this country envisioned citizens leaving their lives to go to washington to serve their time, and then go home.  They knew that average people had and have far more common sense than professional hack politicans like Obama, Biden, McCain, et al. 

I am an attorney myself and think there are far too many attorneys in congress and the senate already.  Liberal lawyers like Obama and Biden have no clue about economics, business, military, etc. 

Palin is far far from perfect, but can you seriously say that someone who was elected as mayor, governor, president of an energy commission, took on corruption in her state, is less qualified than someone who was a state senator, got elected to US Senate and then delcared candidacy for president after 143 days???

Sure ZERO gives great speeches, but lets look at the history BEFORE he ran.  He has never done a damn thing about anytrhing in his life.

I like Palin because she is gutsy, has wide variety of experience in many different areas, and does not come from a DC background.
