Yes he did. He also was the training partner of a famous getbigger.

I interviewed Lee for Iron Man and asked him about that. His answer was "Samir was a great bodybuilder".

LOL. Yeah, I got that impression when I watched the video from one of the grand prix's they did in 1988 or '89 and they gave a press conference beforehand and Samir said something about Lee's sister and Lee had this look (only for a second) where it seemed like he was not pleased. But then as usual, he became 100%-professional and smiled/laughed/bantered.
