Ran to Vegas with my PA last week and while there, we went shopping since we both needed something to wear that night.  At the Guess store, I got the baddest-looking t-shirt they had.

Once home, when I got ready to do my laundry, to my horror, I discovered that the instructions said "machine wash cold on GENTLE cycle".

'Gentle'??  WTF??

One 'gentle wash' shirt doesn't make a guy metro, does it??

Ordinarily, I would not have even looked at it - I mean, it's a fucking t-shirt...even a lifelong bachelor would know machine wash cold, right? 

But this shirt felt, um, 'different'.  So that's what prompted me to look at the tag before throwing it in. 

Thanks for putting me at ease, guys.  The end result is that I ended up washing it with my other clothes.  If it can't handle the rough wash, then it doesn't need to be worn by me.  LOL

You're not metro unless you take longer to get ready to go out than your wife/girlfriend.  Or if you wax your eyebrows, or regularly receive manicures. The required wash cycle of your t-shirt alone doesn't say much.  I wouldn't get your panties in a bunch over it...lol
