I live in OZ. Hell yes there are social problems most people just drink and drink and drink. Amoung taking plenty of rec drugs.

But as i get closer to 30 my friends that do this are aging much faster.

yeah i have noticed this to. friends that drink and smoke alot has wrinkles around their eyes already at age 22

I got two DUI's (and lost my license for 2 years and had to go away to court ordered lockdown treatment/rehab)
been Sober (not even sniffed a bottle cap) for 20 years now

much better life without alcohol (everything bad in my life was because of/from alcohol)

my mom is a full blown alcoholic and her life is sad (school teacher/has her Masters degree and threw it all away on booze)

being a cop ive stayed away from it,,since its very easy to fall into its trap.
