You are a moral relativist.
According to you my opinion isn't better than yours for the reasons I provide--torture, wars of aggression etc are NOT part of this country's history and traditions--rather, you assert that we have separate but equal opinions.
I tell you exactly why my views tower over yours in the conservative moral sense and you weakly respond that we have differing opinions and I suffer from some delusion of prejudice (ideology).
Now it makes sense why you cannot see torture or murderous invasions as immoral.
I don't have to demonize my opponents. There's already a room reserved for them in the Hotel California.
Moral relativist? lol. Hardly. Moral skepticism is actually a liberal hallmark. That's why liberals can do things like defend child rapists and pretty much anything Planned Parenthood does.
I just don't have my nose in the clouds. You talk like an elitist. Or has they say here, "high maka maka." Not sure if you are, but that's the impression you're giving.
Where did I say my opinion was better than yours? And what opinion are you talking about? I was talking about having
different opinions, not better opinions.
The fact you call people who disagree with you politically "opponents" speaks volumes. You're a partisan. You see way too much through partisan glasses. You absolutely have to demonize people who you disagree with in order to call them evil, immoral, etc. They can't just be wrong or have a different take than you. If that were the case, then demonizing them would make you sound irrational.
At the end of the day, it's just a difference of opinion.
