how many empty or half filled protein powder jugs and water bottles do yall have lying round your house?

in my apartment right now i count 7 empty protein jugs andd about 25 water bottles...recycle day is this thursday for me...

I re-use my water bottle. Most bottle water is just tap water anyway, so I use my tap water (well water) and then chill it so that it taste just like cold bottle water.

there is some research that says freezing/recooling plastic bottles can lead to chemical breakdown, maybe lead to cancer.  I used to freeze my water bottles, then drink them half/ice.. but i'm a little nervous about doing that.

I don't freeze them, I just put them in the fridge. Tap water is probably cleaner than most bottle water. Cities spend millions to keep city water clean and they are highly regulated. Bottle water is unregulated and studies show that a lot of it is simply tap water anyway. Super expensive tap water with bottles that pollute the environment. Waste of $, stupid choice.
