'Joe the Plumber' questions Obama's loyalty to US
« on: November 03, 2008, 08:24:57 AM »
Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher, in his newfound fame as political pundit and emerging GOP campaign brand name, is "really scared" of an Obama presidency.

"McCain has fought and bled for our country, loves our country--there's too many questions with Barack Obama," Wurzelbacher said on Sunday, "and his loyalty to our country. I question that greatly."

Wurzelbacher also put into question Obama as a "good American," saying that his "ideology is completely different than what democracy stands for."

JTB is as knowledgable as my cat, and the fact he is such a player in this election is embarassing, between him saying he may run for congress, become a singer, write a book and the publicist. When McCain called him an "American hero" and said he will take him to Washington I really couldn't believe my ears ::)

The whole thing is so stupid and shows you just how far we've declined as a nation.

When McCain called him an "American hero"

Isn't it amazing how diluted the world "hero" has become. It almost has zero meaning now.

I wonder how long after the election it will be before this knucklehead is busted for DUI or something similar.

Isn't he pursuing a musical career?

I'd say DUI within 5 weeks.

I was think a "Rush"-type radio show within a year.

Seriously. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, so I will avoid referencing any specifics, nut people will call someone a hero even if they don't accomplish any notable goal. Simply showing op to play (so sto speak) is now more than good enough.

How weird was it when McCain called Joe the Plumber his "role model"?

How is the world is that tool a role to anyone at all, much less a presidential candidate

mccain campaign will be remembered as one of desperation.

mccain was sleep-deprived and a little nutty in those final days.

Mccain calling JTB his 'role model' and 'an american hero' just took away more and more of his own credibility.

As a conservative I would not go so far as to call JTP a hero. However, he represents the average hardworking american citizen. Sure he was on welfare, temporarily, which he paid into previously and used it for exactly what it was meant for. Shit, my mom had to go on welfare for a while as well, but she spent nearly 25 years paying into it as well and searched for a job every day to get off. Because any real american white/black/latino/asian male or female does not like handouts. We all want to make our own way. Thats what joe the plumber represents, the average hardworking american citizen that doesn't want to see the foundations and ideals of this country that are forefathers set over 200 years ago.
