it's been a long time since i've been to Europe, late 1980's, almost everywhere we went was absolutley beautiful though, especially Germany.
I've been to the US a few times, but not Chicago. I've been to Florida, the Bay Area, and Texas (Austin/San Antonio area). I actually liked the small towns in Texas the best. Gotta visit New York and Chicago some time soon.
you'll love Chicago, it's great, i was born there and grew up about 90 miles south of there so i'm kind of biased but you'll love it, New York sucks.
