as i have found that full body training is a waste and should only be done sparingly
why?
because a full body workout means every thing gets taxed in half thus upper body will not have a full look everything will be half spent
when you train legs only that means 70 percent of your mass is spent. thus allowing for upperbody to fill out in caloric surplus since it is not trained.
the hormones are built from leg training. so focus on building up the 70 percent to beyond max because it will be more time conservative in your workouts to do all of the caloric burning and muscle sustanance with lower body only training.
we tend to get distracted, lose our focus, our zone when we fatigued back then biceps and left little for leggs at the end *hypothetically speaking*. thus the 70 percent of our bodys mass is what we want to focus on daily with maybe 1 time a week include upperbody training
remember this is to keep fullness in the upper body, and to promote lean tissue sustanance and growth with lower body only training
i know dudes like whateva will own because those thai boxers i seen 5 years ago on espn 2 said they did variations of squats lunges for all day long if they could
think about it like this
many of us have just trained arms some days
some days just sholders and tris
think of the size of those muscle groups and there potential for growth IE. It is not that much potential
legs only training are a sure bet if you want to maintain condition and the probability of growth or maintining a signal for hormone production
plus you are not as wiped out actually after many accumulation of leg only workouts because the upperbody stays healed throughout
