More people voted in 04 than in 08
« on: November 05, 2008, 09:17:46 AM »
In 2004 121 million Americans voted with George Bush receiving 62 million votes.

In 2008 119 million Americans voted with Obama receiving 63 million votes.

I'm sure the media will point this out.

To quote Bill Clinton "This whole thing is the biggest fanstasy I've ever seen.

10% of republicans, across the board, did not vote.

The Republican base clearly was not motivated.

Obama barely got more votes than Bush did 4 years ago and the country has 6 million more citizens now.

Obamamania is a media invention.  Most of the polls were way off in his margin of victory.

It's the palin effect.

far-right repubs deny it, but dems and independents cited her incompetence as their sole reason for choosing obama.

Even some wealthy getbig republicans chose obama due to palin's lack of readiness for the job.
