Will Obama fix the voting booth issue?
« on: November 05, 2008, 09:38:01 AM »
he has 4 years, and a dem congress to pass anything.

yesterday in Naples, FL there was zero wait for the millionaires to vote.

yesterday in Ft Meyrs, Fl, where many foreclosures are occurring, there was a 3-hour wait to vote.  At 9:10 PM, our local news still showed people waiting after a 7 pm close.  In line by 7 and, you get to vote!

It's fairly obvious that if you're wealthy, your polling station is not crowded, adn if you live in a higher population (poorer) area, you will be standing for hours.

Will Obama change this?  If poor/Dems could have voted in 5 minutes like the wealthy did... holy crap... the spread would have been bigger than 6 points lol...

that would be very nice, I hope so but have kinda lost hope of that.  It's not going to be a big priority with the problems the country faces right now.  If we were not in such a dire place, they could afford the time/money to do that.

IMO he'll improve it out of simple desire to keep his job in 2012.

Bush hooked up the rich districts - zero waiting.
