Coach, a politician is a strange kind of a profession, and one in which their is not a lot of pre-reqs as 'qualification' -ie. military men, lawyers, even an actor(!) have held the Presidential Office. Legislature-wise, he's as 'qualified' as Abraham Lincoln or JFK, to give but two notable examples. As for 1,000's - I'll just put this down to Coach hyperbole. You get some rest; I'm sure your blood pressure is through the roof.
