Clint Eastwood isn't effeminate, he is simply not overtly violent and bombastic. His style is smoother and calmer, but still very masculine.

Just saw the scenes for the movie where Eastwood plays an old crazy man in a war with Hmong gangsters! Crazy looking shit, looks like a great movie! He is also directing it.
