You had mentioned alcohol IIRC, is that what you're struggling with? You also said your doc prescribed GHB... that's one hell of a combo. I hope you're doing well, man. Kick back, relax, clear the skeletons out of your closet and get back to your normal life. No shame in going to rehab. There are some things that people need help with and it takes a real man to ask someone else for assistance with sensitive matters like substance abuse.

Take care of yourself, buddy!

Recovery is going great, there is a pool, hot tub and a nice gym in here. The food is also great, eating better in here than I did at home.

Hope everything is going well with all you getbiiggers.

Good Luck....

Not drinking can be tough but just look what heavy drinking daily does to you and maybe that will help.

Your life will change for the worst now.  The friends you thought you had will slowly cast you aside as you talk about how great it is to be sober and recommending that they seek help as well. You may find jesus too but eventually you will crawl back to the comfort of alcohol.  Most people do.

Give it hell man !!!

lol..nah.  I just have known a lot of people who have been to rehab and it played out the same everytime.

I just smoke weed a lot and drink maybe 3 or 4 times a year.  I never needed rehab.  Fuck,  I went a week without smoking weed once a few years back to prove I could do it.  So yeah I am under control.

it is sad that many addicts will always remain addicts and have a difficult life, ....but I know some alcholics that are sober many many years now and doing succesful, they still struggle but they have money, work and relationships. It is possible and Mussolini should know that.

oh yes it is possible.  It is a matter if you can replace those great memorable times that involved alcohol or drugs with some new adventures that are just as exciting without the drugs.  I personally don't see how it can be done.

"Hey Jim remember that time we went to an AA meeting and it was raining so hard?...lol...oh boy that was a good time..hahahaha."

Maybe with some drugs and alcohol thrown in that just may have been the most epic of all outings.  Take it away and you have nothing.

that is true and the real danger of alcholhol and drugs, they accentuate reality, and then reality off drugs is so colorless and boring life becomes painful and intolerable....But that is also bullshit, because there are things in life that are far more beautiful and exciting than any drug can imitate...it takes a wise person to see that though.
