Think about this; innocent people do not take a body and set it on fire. They do not go on a late night Wal Mart shopping spree for 7 bottles of lighter fluid. They do not do any of this just to "save our reputation and careers."
One bottle of lighter fluid, can be disputed. Sure, they were up late at night and I'm positive Kelly nor Craig are the first people to ever purchase lighter fluid late at night. But SEVEN?! That's one big fucking BBQ there.

In the court of law, evidence is used to convict or acquit people based on what is presented to them. There are some mistakes that can be made.
But from what we know and the landslide of evidence that the public has seen (people involved in the case see far more than the public).....as Det. Grissom from CSI says...."The evidence does not lie."
Too many oddities in this case to say Craig and/or Kelly did not do commit the crime.
Why they committed it, and who/what Melissa was is not so relevant. If they had a problem with Melissa, there are services available for them to help. I'm 100% sure the state would not have put Melissa to death for any of the reasons stated as why she died.

That doesn't mean she deserved to die, but she overdosed, and she killed herself, after attacking Craig and Kelly both of the house owners!  What disrepsect!  Craig and Kelly did what everyone else would have done and disposed of the evidence.

Fill her with morphine?  She filled herself with morphine and if you watched the 48 mystery you would know because you would have heard it straight from Craiggers mouth.  What else do they do with her?  If they report it to the police it makes it look like they killed her which they didn't, she overdosed.  So they have to get rid of her somehow.  They should have burried her I think that would have been better, many other posters agree as well.

 I think the mother is just still in shock. The murder was already so long ago. I think Kelly was just Craigs lemming doing everything he says. Im sure he sent her in for the lighter fluid because the credit card was in her name. Wouldnt want to raise any "suspicions". I think she was actually remorseful, not Craig. I could hear him saying..."it was Melissas fault i had to kill her"....I like at the end of the show when they siad "Kelly says her marriage to Craig is over".   Little too late...

If Melissa and her family want Craig to go free..who the fucking hell are WE to stop it? It's crazy. He's done his time and is clearly deeply sorry - I've seen the poor dude crying a bunch of times. His physique has lost muscle. Surely this starts to constitute some kind of state torture, or cruel and unusual punishment?

Why don't they give the taxpayer a break and let Craig out now. He's been incarcerated for years ffs.
