Jason Pegg's original tribute thread.
« on: November 11, 2008, 10:43:52 PM »
A war hero.

Injured but stood back up and asked to go back to duty.

A guy I only met once in person but felt so close to that I invited him to my wedding.

I would drop everything I have right now to walk one mile in his shoes and couldn't feel prouder.

A great family man, a great warrior, an amazing lifter, a flawless American legend.

God bless you bro, you represent American in all its meaning. God speed.

So you made him go to your wedding but didn't invite him to the stag party?  Some pal.  Hope he gave you a $10 toaster.

Alright alright.  Lets put aside the toaster and the fact that he drank the bar dry, groped every bridesmaid and half the female guests, and did the robot on a table at the reception.  Other than that he sounds like a pretty good guy.

Gotta see how things pan out with this one first bro.  She's nuttier than a squirrel's scrotum but she's got her charms.  Merci bien tho.

Lets hear some more Jpegg stories in the meantime.  I heard he lifts weights.

It's easy for us to sit home and debate politics and all that, pretending we're making a difference.  Most of us don't have the balls to actually sign up, fly to the other side of the world, and dodge bullets and bombs in order to preseve our way of life.

JPegg almost paid the ultimate price for us.  Thank you for that.

J, if you ever need a meal, a roof over your head, or a kidney, you got it.  I am sure most of us feel this way.

why turn it into a macho holier-than-thou thing? Some of us are chasing our dreams in one way or another, the guy is a hero and good man, leave it at that.  ::)
