It's hard to grasp the upper echelon of wealth. 

A Billionaire is as many times more wealth as a Millionaire is to a HOMELESS man begging for change.  When you get up around the wealth of Buffet or Gates at his peak, it isn't even "real" as far as us normals walking around with paper cash and credit payments are concerned. 


It takes a LOT of middle American salaries to make up for one Billionaire. 
The amount of money that is "owned" in America is amazing....if it were divided evenly, it would be surprising how much each person would have.....

Shiiiat man! It used to be that the richest 5% owed 90% of the stuff (late 80s I think). Not to be partisan here (because Clinton was very much a pseudo-republican when it came to the moola) but we can see what 3 republican administrations have done to the pockets of the American people.

The sadly and at the same time funny thing is seeing the plenty threads around here by regular hard-working Americans worrying about the 1%'s pocket. Slave mentality at its saddest. It must suck to think that your life will be nothing without "the master".

That is all well and good,but the mechanisms often proposed by the liberalds anbd leftists of the world often results in shared povery, not shared prosperity. 

Robin Hood economics never works.

I would argue that by taxing the middle class and upper middle class to the grills like we do now, it makes the disparity that much greater and that much easier for the wealthiest to remain in place where they are.

They won't starve, ...they'll just go on welfare, and default on their mortgages leaving YOU to pick up the tab.

...oh, ...and they won't have any money to buy your services and keep your business in the red.

Right, by behaving badly often The Master is eventually going to hurt his hand hitting us (due to biomechanical reasons). So... in order to spare The Master from breaking his hand, it's best to let him punish us as he pleases and when he pleases. The best end result being that he does not break his hand and hence the system that keeps us "alive" is left intact.
