Staying in the 160-170 range.

Just hit about 170, so when I hit that number, I cut back calories to 2000 to get back to 160 which I just started today.  It only takes about 3 weeks or so to get back to 160 and really lean again.

Then,

When I hit 160, I stop the calorie count and eat a ton usually around 4-8,000 calories would be my estimate.  It takes usually around 2 months of heavy eating to move to 170 from the 160 starting point.

Interesting.  I'm not overly familiar with your diet methods; what foods are you taking in to stay under 2000 cals?

Anything I want.

I just make sure I get about 1 gram per lb of bodyweight of protein during this time.  This can come from whatever.

The rest of my calories also come from whatever I feel like eating, Be it Fast Food, a Payard Pecan Pie, Red Wine Shoulder Roast and Mashed Potatoes, Chocolate Cookies etc......You get the idea.

No food is off limits.

When I stop the 2000 calorie count and begin the heavier eating, I don`t bother counting anything.

Also, I do not always heavy eat during that phase.  If I don`t feel like eating too much, I won`t.

Wow 2 grams of protein per kilo of bodyweight.

That's quite a bit over the RDA isn't it?

Odd that you can lose the weight so quickly but it takes a bit longer to put it back on. Seems like it could be pretty effective.
