Seriously, no.  I talked to a couple brothers last year who said their dad wouldn't go to the doc because he didn't want the finger up the bum.    They grew them to try to convince their old man to go and were bitching about how he still refused.  I told 'em you can just get the PSA checked with a blood test and they were over the moon because they reckoned he'd go in for that. 

I help out in my way.    Me with facial hair doesn't help anyone.  How does it work anyway?  Is someone supposed to sponsor you if you do it and the $ goes to the charity?  Or is it just an awareness thing?

I think a bit of both. I thnik you are meant to be sponsored, but most people just do it cause everyone is doing it. Either way, it's a pretty popular and raises good money for the cause. Plus it looks like a big of fun. A lot of people are taking part.
