CHAMP RANDY COUTURE VS. BROCK LESNAR (FOR UFC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE)
Round 1 - Chants of "Randy" fill the arena. Couture throws a right, but Lesnar clinches. Couture pushes Lesnar against the cage. Lesnar scores with a knee inside. The chants for Couture begin again. Lesnar circles off and puts Couture against the cage. Couture pushes off and scores with a right hand. Lesnar throws a heavy combo. Lesnar shoots in for a single leg, but Couture keeps his balance. Lesnar pulls Couture's legs out and moves to half-mount. Lesnar tries for mount, but Couture slips out. Couture looks to move to Lesnar's back, but the larger man pulls him in front. Lesnar is back on top of Couture in half-mount. Lesnar pins Couture's arm and lands a few solid punches. Couture rolls and Lesnar controls form north-south. Couture slips and stands and pushes Lesnar against the cage. Couture lands a knee and Lesnar receives a warning for grabbing the fence. Both trade as the round ends. Round 2 - An exchange of jabs. Lesnar scores with an elbow and Couture is wobbled briefly. Couture moves in and controls Lesnar against the cage. Couture scores with a knee. Both throw toe to toe. Lesnar's stand up looks much sharper. Lesnar has a cut above his right eye. Lesnar shoots in again, but Couture defends well and remains on his feet. Couture again pushes the bigger man against the fence. Couture throws a knee, then Lesnar. A big right hand from Lesnar. Couture is dropped, and Lesnar pounces. Rapid fire short blows follow.
