Is bodybuilding inherently a 'loner's/lone wolf's' activity?
« on: November 16, 2008, 08:09:03 AM »
Do you think really social and gregarious people tend to lift? It has been my observation (including from myself) that this is not the case; usually guys who lift are loners and not big time socialites.

What's your opinion?

AGREED...those who are serious about it are usually loners...I am for sure! However, a lot of "socialites" get all dressed up and promenade around the gym..kinda like a night club w/o the cocktails...these folks usually are in "decent" shape but do waaaay more talkin than working out.

Is it common for your to strip off your size small under armor and break into a pose down to impress these "socialites?"

yes. it's a lonely sport. if you need people around you and people telling you what to do all the time you can't do bodybuilding. if you have a good training partner it's less lonely but good training partners are hard to come by..

It's gets a lot harder to find decent training partners the oldder you get.  Most guys will give it up once they hit 30.

well it is kind of an individual thing, given that you aren't leaning on other team members for support.  But here we are on a bodybuilding board-that counts.  I always talk to my friends at the gym, often hit on girls at the gym, AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, often wear sleeveless shirts!

Hahahah. What is the matter bottom boy? Just because you are aroused by the male body and in denial doesn't mean others are as well. You seem to have an interest in bast. Do you by any chance have his penis saved to your computer? Do you struggle with your homosexuality? Is bodybuilding a way for you to vent? Clearly the maintenance of your skinny fat status means you have a keen interest in being someones bottom bitch. Do you dream of david mesmerized?
