At 15:44 in Part 1 of Jay Cutler's
New, Improved, and Beyond, one encounters this:
During a brief break between Jay's sets of incline dumbbell presses [with his firm-assed wife hovering about for the occasional spotting], this
cholo mounts the adjoining bench and prepares to exercise.
This reminded me of a story I associate with Martina Navratilova - though I could be wrong about that. The upshot was that a top female tennis champion was offended by other women playing on an adjoining court. She argued that male players would never disrespect a male champion by doing the same.
Whether you agree with the gender analysis or not, it made me wonder whether any of you would do what the
cholo was doing. Refraining might not even be a matter of deference. It might just be embarrassment at the relative paucity of your endowments.
