kenny looked great but being a hilo boy myself bj plus imo bj is finally focused and no one i think can break him. i did see him  down keaukaha drinking hope that doesnt affect his fight with gsp

I think Florian looks very impressive and improved...

But beating BJ Penn...I still don't think he has a shot. People don't see BJ fight very often. They forget how good and what a an MMA specimen he is.

I'd give a slight edge to BJ only because he showed me he has some pretty damned good hands against Sherk...


I don't think BJ stands a chance against GSP though which tells me it'll be a  little while before florian ever gets that belt at 155

Thats exactly what happened when Florian was in Hilo, and BJ was humiliating him on his feet, and on the mat.

I haven't worked at Bj's gym since last May.  But, I don't think BJ would humiliate anyone on purpose.  In real life he is a really good guy and nice to everyone.  On the mat he is different but he respects people. SO not sure about this one.  And BJ will beat GSP.  Mark my words. ;)

Prior to his fight with Sherk, BJ was talking about how he brings in people to help him train.  BJ mentioned he brought in Kenny, Kenny responded an in interview that he was totally tooled by BJ and predicted that BJ would dominate a fight with Sherk.  Since then, Kenflo said he was on vacation and not in shape.

This will be a great fight, and BJ is bad ass, but I think St.Pierre will win this one. St.Pierre has gotten so much better since the last time he beat BJ. St.Pierre is a new type of fighter. BJ has mad skills, but the game has changed a lot since BJ was champ, and I just don't think BJ's natural talent will carry him much further.

KenFlo has gotten MUCH better since his TUF days. He's a dangerous fighter, able to pick apart guys with his stand up and submit people with his black belt bjj on the ground. I am really impressed with his footwork and his ability to move laterally and get in and out of striking range.

That said, I still believe the fight would end up on the ground. And should that happen, the edge goes to BJ.

BJ by 3rd round submission.
