'Conan' Producer wants Schwarzenegger

if they make the movie in the next two years, brett ratner won't be doing it.  the producer made the announcement prematurely. ratner's actually pissed about it.  he'd love to do the film, but they're in the final stages of the greenlight for him directing beverly hills cop 4.  he's quoted as saying he'd love it, but he IS going to do beverly hills cop first!  so they'd just have to wait for him, otherwise...no-go.

What a fucking stupid decision!  Why would Rattner waste his time with a tired old franchise like Beverly Hills Cop?  They must be offering him a buttload of money.

Sure, but a lot of readers of the Conan stories by by Robert E. Howard have really enjoyed them and hope that the movies could be more similar.
The Conan in the books is quite different to that depicted by Arnold in the movie.....

in for a day of shooting and are digitally replacing roland's face with arnold's for the whole movie.  dialogue and everything.  and roland's body is similar enough, it should be pretty close to the good ol' days.

Though the rock is nearly perfect physique-wise, to be true to the story, Conan was from the northern latitudes so he should be more European looking with dark hair.  If you get a pretty boy to play the role the movie will suck ass.  Its gotta be a harder, even wheathered looking person.
