McFarland is a good dude; I trained with him for a very short while when I was living out in LA.  The guy just loves bodybuilding...he lives and breathes this game.  I would MUCH rather have a guy like Jeff around than TA.  Jeff has put his money where his mouth is and actually competed in a bodybuilding contest.

TA is an absolute joke.  I don't think anyone other than mental gnats of his like mind take him seriously.

he's loonier than two nutsacks, but when it comes to bodybuilding, i can say he's done it all.  i'm sure at some point in his life, he's tried some version of the Adonis principles, but he went back to the chicken and rice eventually.

well, as fucked up as McFarland is, he has a pretty low tolerance for bullshitters, hence his going up to deangelis to talk about beefyheavyweight, etc.  He's possibly the last heterosexual true fan of bodybuilding, so whenever someone like Adonis shows up and says shit like eat ice cream to get ripped, McFarland got pissed.  So after a few months of reading this, McFarland just went off.  i'll see if i can dig up the post, it was similar to jason's, but more mcfarlandesque.

I don't think Jeff is beefy.  Jeff probably knows more inside stuff than anyone on this forum - and it's not his style to make bodybuilding or other bodybuilders look bad out of spite.  Jeff is a positive force in the world of bodybuilding.
