Sarah Palin Interviewed While Turkeys are Being Slaughtered

Not sure why she agreed to do a public interview in front of the turkey slaughtering either.  These are facts of life and how we get turkeys but I don't see how this is a good move for her.  She doesn't seem to be helping herself much.  Perhaps the culture of Alaskans is significantly different than most of the mainland 48....so, she should stay and continue to be a good gov of alaska.  There are more experienced people in the republican party on a federal level.  Tim Pawlenty comes to mind, as does Mitt Romney.  So does this black conservative I heard the other day, can't remember his name but he was former military and just ran for the senate.  Lt. Colonel I believe.  Impressive guy.

I don't eat torchered souls...If your a meat eater, there is no reason why one can't find organic, grass feed animals to eat that have been killed in a humane way...

Ask just about anyone how turkeys are killed and I would bet 999 out of the 1000 would say they are beheaded...Not fuking grinded up in a grinder while still living...

I have come to the conclusion that Sarah Palin is too decent and real of a person for her to try to go to DC.  She is not into the sanitized version of how things happen like many people want in their politicians, sadly.  People want to be lied to and want to believe in fairy tales.    

The evidence of this are the wash women and teenage girls on this board who are more concerned with phony issues and red herrings than real issues.  Again, god forbid people see where their food comes from.  The fools on this board have no problem showing the Saddam Hussein execution tape, but have aproblem with a politician doing an interview in a food processing plant that provides food for people to eat and survive?

You said something that resonated with me...through all her alaskan quirks and her lack of federal gov experience, there was still something I liked about her....she is decent.  Your right, thats it.  I think she is a good decent American...something lacking in federal politics on both sides these days.  I still don't think she is qualified to be VP but I suppose I would take a decent person who is a quick study over someone I don't trust, regardless of experience.

I think you guys are on the mark with Palin.  She has potential.  But I think this guy is a bit more in tune with republican values and should be given serious consideration for the presidency:

You make a good point.  I do not enjoy watching this stuff, but i am glad it is shown so that people at least know WTF is going on and are not under some presumption of how things work and get done, as ugly as it might be.

I think Sarah Palin is too real a person to be in DC.  You may disagree with her on everything, but i dont think you can say she is a phony or a snake about who she is and what she believes in.

She lives what she believes and I think that is very refreshing for once.

I gathered from Palin's comments during the interview that the whole setup was supposed to be kind of a tongue-in-cheek joke, an attempt at some light-hearted humor.

I do agree that Sarah is a decent, intelligent person who is willing to step up and serve her country and I think she could do a lot of good with a little more experience and polishing.  But, having said that...  this particular joke kinda fell flat IMO.  The retard doing the slaughtering and turning around to watch the interview was probably the funniest thing about it.
