With all this talk about the champs are in the UFC?
« on: November 25, 2008, 07:18:21 AM »
Who do you want to see move to the UFC most.. I know the main answer will be Fedor, so let's keep his name out of this thread... i know we talked about this a while ago... I would love to see what Eddie Alvarez could do for one.. I know after Elitexc was shot down he was talkin about wanting to go to WEC...

Who would you guys like to see come over and how do you think they would fare in their wieght class?

Just for old time sake I'd like to see Mark Kerr come back to the UFC.  I think he'd probably get killed though.  Also, Kevin Randalman and maybe Phil Baroni.

Really the NY badass??? I have never been a big fan of Phoney Baroni.. The guy I think would be destoryed in the UFC? hmmm didn't expect that name to be thrown into the mix.. Cool though. Kerr would be insane just to see if he could do anything..

Cung Le for sure.. I think he would be a top two... Urijah would get eaten up I think.. Lawler is one I wonder what would happen. I don't know how he would fare? Diaz is cool, but I like his brother better that is for sure.

Eddie Alvarez, Jake Sheilds, Cung Le.

Lawler would get slapped around if he came back to the UFC. He's not a schlub, but he's not in the same league any longer.

Was talking to a guy yesterday who was offered to buy ELite.  I didn't pay attention much what he was telling me.  But I did catch the $55 million in loses and the $7 million in assets (I think).  It didn't sound like a good deal.

Any longer?  His last two fights in the UFC were losses to Tanner, and Nick "I ain't no bitch" Diaz.  If anything, he has gotten better since leaving the UFC and fighting in 185 instead of cutting to make 170.  I agree he wouldn't much more than a gatekeeper, Nate would tool him, Maia would demolish him, and Anderson would make short work of him.  I'd like to see him fight Bisping, Cote, Quarry.  No good BJJ guys, though.

I agree that he has seemed more natural at 185, but I think the three guys you listed, Bisping, Cote and Quarry would all beat Robbie pretty handily. He used to have dynamite in his hands, but I think he has lost the real desire to compete. And I'm pretty sure he and Dana have bad blood.
