Bunzee, do you do anything for your neck...there used to a neck machine at my gym but they got rid of it for some stupid girlie machine....too hard to train neck with free weights?

Fuck I know I look like an idiot.  In the attempt to flex as hard as I could I guess I closed my eyes.  Looks terrible.  I will practice posing with eyes open so when I eventually compete I dont look like Im taking a dump on stage.......

I used to use the "head basket" which goes on your head like a hat and you attach weights to it for what I call neck curls.  But I gave it up due the fact that It felt wierd and I must have looked like a freak using it.  Honestly my nexk dev. has come through years of heavy ass shrugs bar and d-bell.  I always go high reps and hold it for a real good squeeze at the top each time as I try to pull my traps into my ears....This has no doubt thickened up my neck....

I actually had it done by a chinese tattoo artist here in winnipeg.  I also checked it out thouroughly in books, online and from a friend who is chinese.  Its CLEAR MIND STRONG BODY AND FREE SOUL....Their is no direct translation for mind in the symbols so I opted for  CLEAR "HEAD" (vs "mind")....Means the same to me.....but enough of the damn tats please we could almost start a seperate thread on my tats but who cares.....They are just reminders to keep a clear head (not get hooked on drugs and alcohol etc), and a strong body which when I have both allows my soul to be free.  They serve as pos. reminders everytime I look at them and for that I am grateful and happy I got em....

i've used that too, it is awkward and really only good for the back of the neck....I have used that with the rowing machine and works pretty good, just hook the head gear to the pulley and stay seated...you can do the sides that way...but non bodybuilding people look at you like your crazy.

Damn I could imagine youd look like a freak.  I just got worried about giving my self a "stinger" in the neck or pulling a muscle.  I had enough of that shit in football years...For now its heavy and hard on the shrugs and thats about it fro thickening up the ol neck...

Actually hope to be soon but I have been in uni for 6 years and have not been financially secure as its very expensive.  Im almost done and have been saving for the ring for some time now....only a matter of time just want to be set financially a bit and do it up right...

Why ?  I have an advanced degree in psycholgy which takes 4 years full time and a bachelors of education which Im almost done in March and it takes 2 .....6 years two uni degrees thats normal BENZ....
