I honestly don't understand why people have a Myspace page. That stuff is personal, and you know your employer (or potential employer) is going to check it out. It wouldn't take much to turn an employer off. A curse word...a strange pic...anything. Maybe it's just a pic of you having a beer with friends, but they see that, and all of a sudden, the employer tells HR "don't hire him -- he's got a drinking problem". Why put your life on display to let people take advantage of you? The ultimate in vanity trumping common sense and reason.
