The "Bobbys" in the UK dont even carry guns. He wasnt really fighting them so they could only use the amount of force "necessary to subdue him.......

He should have been, unfortunately in the UK, these criminals will press charges claiming the police used excessive force. And the bullshit justice system will probably uphold the charges and let the real criminal go.

Same as if a gang of kids throws bricks at your house, smashes your car up, whatever, if you go out and end up smacking one of them, you'll get locked up, while they go free. Pisses me off how many people get away with stuff over here.
