Relson, Royler, Royce, Rickson, Rhalen, Saulo, Xande, Jeff Glover, Mike Fowler, Dan Henderson (greco tie ups, waist up wrestling), John Lewis, Inoue's, Baret Yoshida, Rigan Machado, JJ Machado.  Each one is different, each one devastated my ego, got the most from Relson, Saulo, Xande, Royler, Hendo.  Will see Kron, Arona, Comprido and Maia before year end.   ;D

BJ Penn, Rickson Gracie, Royce Gracie, Rorion Gracie, Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, Kevin Randleman, John Fitch, Frank Mir, Urijah Faber, John Hess, James Irvin, Jeff Monson, Xandre Ribeiro, Vinicius Magalhaes, Bas Rutten and a few others as the list is long.

Two more worth noting.

The most devastating and the most incredible fighter I have ever rolled with is Anawatazi. He, as Rickson Gracie said, is the most technical, coldest fighter Rickson had ever seen. Two bad he had that little incident with Sakikabara or more would know who he is.

And the most colossal prick award has to go to the late Ryan Gracie. He is without a doubt the biggest prick I have ever rolled with. No manners, no class and no mercy signify him. A douchebag of biblical proportions.

i thought my list was impressive, some of you guys made my list look like nothing,i didnt count there gulars at renzos like, rolls gracie jr,igor gracie, jamal patterson, rob constance, daniel gracie, gregor gracie, big bryon vatell, and so many other awesome dudes, like ive always said your only as good as who you roll or train with, you can have a great teacher but if your partners aint that good youll be a big fish in a small pond, then when ya go to a bonified gracie or machado type academy you learn real fast about trainin partners and how good they make you.thanks for the responses everyone, have a great christmas and new years

^^You got that right.  Good partners make each other better.  I have been somewhat of a creonte, and have trained at a few different places.  My loyalty is to my partners, family and friends, not to my association.  I hate being asked to choose between friends because of association loyalty.  Prolly not gonna change again, unless my instrutor leaves to go back to Kali.

I like to see it as wiser.  Rolling with the younger guys when you got a jacked up right knee, bad left shoulder and bad lower back was fun....but not too fun.

the last grapplers quest i did was in 2000,i sandbagged it that day,the intermediate was to stacked and i went to beginner just so i had a better chance i getting another metal,it worked out great,it was snowing out and all around bad weather so only one guy showed up in my class(super heavies)he outweighed me by 70lbs or so and scored 1 point on me 12 seconds into the match then kept back peddling the rest of the match,i kept trying shots and throws but he kept backing up,the ref told him to try something instead of moving back but the dude just wanted to play it safe instead of trying to finish the match.my teacher rather have us lose but be aggressive and go for submissions rather then win by playing it safe by laying and praying, even though i got a nice second place metal for my trophy case which is cool.i did the intermediate that same year at the battle at the beach naga grappling event and didnt do very well at all,the guys are tough as hell in that division

I think I still fall under the Young Guy category, but I know what your talking about. I don't know if I would say older is wiser, but I will say it is more control. The younger guys are always going to hard with to little control. I hated when a 18 yr old will attempt a leg lock or knee bar  after a young high school kid put me in one and then jacked up my knee cause he had zero control!

You'd probably recognize me if you saw me.

I started at Renzo's in 1996, when it was on 27th & 6th. Matt and Nick Serra had just gotten their blue belts.

Gracies: Renzo, Ryan, Roger, Rodrigo, Daniel, Gregor, Rolles Jr, Igor, Kyra.

Fabio Leopoldo, Rafael "Gordinho" Correa, George St. Pierre, Matt & Nick Serra, Guy Ritchie, Harley Flanagan (Lead Singer of the Cro Mags), Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard, Oz).

That said, sometimes it's better to roll with a white belt than a black.

I'm more the t-shirt, fancy kimono type guy. But there's no shortage of ink at Renzo's. Rolles has an awesome bicep tattoo of his father.
