Oh yeah.  My cousin is an attorney to the Vatican, a member of Opus Dei and he plays poker with Antonin Scalia.

He's also a great guy.  His politics are horrible though.

Your politics are no prize either.

Thanks for participating in this poll.  I am surprised that so many here picked the sure, why not option.

I'd be interested to know which posters picked the no, I couldn't marry an idiot option.

I have a couple good guesses I think ;D

Marrying a liberal woman would probably be tough to deal with mentally, but physically, she would probably do anything in bed, and with other women involved!

Yeah, they are almost identical ::)

You're right, because only married people have intercourse  ::)

You're not aware of special interests. You're not aware of who owns (pays for) who.
You're not aware of the art of public portrayal. Yes, what they ultimately achieve is similar. ::)

Of course people who get married aren't the only people who reproduce, I didn't say that.
That's why I said "INCREASE THE CHANCES OF."
It means people who get married usually have kids, and are more likely to have kids than people who don't.
By no means does this mean people who don't get married never have kids.  ::)

That is so funny.
So, the opposite of marrying a liberal woman "physically" would be what exactly?

My wife and I have had discussions (sometimes heated ones) on a number of issues.

She’s a registered Democrat; I’m a registered Republican. She voted for Gore in 2000 and Obama in 2008; I voted for Bush in 2000 and McCain in 2008 (we both voted for Bush in 2004).

On the issue of education, for example, she’s against school vouchers; I’m for them (that was one of our more heated debates). She thinks that school vouchers allow troublemakers to enter private schools, thus making it harder for other kids to learn. I believe that parents should have the power to put their kids in whatever schools they want and shouldn’t be at the mercy of the government to fix the bad schools.

Interesting.  Thanks Mcway.

Are the two of you usually able to understand the reasoning behind the other's opinion when they differ?

Are you both of the same religion?
