Turkey - bodybuilding food?
« on: December 01, 2008, 10:57:26 AM »
With all the sales on turkey during the holidays (at some stores as low as $6 for a turkey up to 15 lbs.), wonder if it is a good idea to stock up?  You could freeze 10 of them and cook up 1 a month from January to October for a good, inexpensive change to chicken breast.

Nothing compares to beef as far as building muscle.  Lots more creatine in beef than bird meat.

Turkey is excellent for building muscle.  We have quite a few good BBQ places here in Austin that season/cook it up very well; there's very little, if any, fat in turkey breast.

I'd agree with this.  I have been to Dallas, Austin, and all over Southern Cal many times.  Loved the woman in Texas by far.  I freaking love that state period.
