M-1 Exclusive: Yvel to fight Barnett

As we've just got officially confirmed: Dutch striker Gilbert Yvel (35-12-1) signed a three-fight contract with Affliction. Yvel is set to debut on January, 24-th at Affliction 2 'Day of Reckoning' where his opponent will be non other than top heavyweight Josh Barnett (23-5).

Yvel is on 7-fight winning streak with the lates bout won just two weeks ago at M-1 Challenge 9 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Barnett is coming of the revenge against  Pedro Rizzo at debut Affliction show called 'Banned'.

Agreed, I'm definitely not a fan of this guy. It's always something completely unsportsman like from him. Though someone should really post the clip of him KO'ing the referee. It's so over the top when he does it you don't know what to think.

The punch is at around 1:40, and it's a hell of a shot too followed by a kick while the ref is still down. The guy is a disgrace..
