Heavy Shrugs

Any of you guys try seated dumbbell shrugs as heavy as possible??

I like them...but like I said just not as heavy. I want to feel it more in my traps.

4 plates per side. I like the way it hits the "meat" of the traps.

Yeah, I could see how an angled smith would work well for that, because it would force you to lift it back as well, not just up, which is the most difficult direction to pull the weight and would hit a larger portion of the traps. That actually may be the best way to do them, good call.

Straight up and down with dumbbells.
