At what age is it not cool for a guy to play computer games?

I defend my rights bitch to play video games I maybe 39, but I play alot of xbox games online such as call of duty 5 and gears of war....its pathetic to even discuss this topic like its important here at a bodybuilding board  I also rent movies on xbox also through netflix and watch it with my online buddies  so you can take your slow/stop crap elswhere.......

A VP in my company who has over 100 people in his department told me Friday he couldn't wait to get home because his family was out and he was having friends over to drink beer and play video games.

It's a generational thing.

Games have come so far that even if you ignore gameplay, the stories, character development, humor, music and overall production rival, and even surpass, those of movies and television shows.  It's just another personal form of entertainment.

Regardless of what you do, it's best to be well balanced.  Also, taking pride in yourself to make yourself a better person or the type of person you want to be is all that matters, not what others think.  If someone has a problem with something that you do, it's their problem, not yours. 

With all that said, for me personally, my three primary passions are my wife and kids, videogames and computers, and working out.  I don't expect any of that to ever change no matter how old I get.

Just wondering. If you're over 25, is playing xbox 360 starting to get a bit weird and juvenile? How about when you're in your 30's, is it starting to get into creepy pedo living with his mom  territory?

I am tempted to buy a games machine but am wondering if there is an age where it just ain't right to be blowing up locusts and mowing down cops.

I think its fine to play video games no matter what age you are, there are plenty of games with mature storylines which require logical thinking to complete, somthing most people lack in this thread.

Mr.Olympia plays Madden Football btw.

Gaming is a great way to relax cause there is very little physical exertion. It also helps improve co-ordination. Consoles and games are designed and built for mainly grown ups (teenagers upwards) as opposed to toys for kids. Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you are into it, it's a great way to blow off some steam whether you play a single player campaign or against others online. Like someone said, it's no different than watching movies or playing golf or whatever.
